Sheffield Forgemasters International Ltd (SFIL) is a world leader in supplying total engineering packages to solve industry's needs. As the world's largest independently owned forgemaster, SFIL specialises in a broad range of heavy steel forgings and steel castings as well as stocking steel ingot and bar. SFIL manufactures high integrity castings and forgings with the capability of melting in excess of 600 tonnes. Our current key defence customers include : BAE Systems Marine , Rolls Royce Derby, Babcock International, General Dynamics Electric Boat, SAAB Kokum's and Huntington Ingalls to name a few. SFIL have capabilities to offer complete supply including machining and testing or part/rough machined products suitable for finish machining. All works completed on site in Sheffield (UK). Production of critical components for various defence areas including large A-brackets and rudder horns for surface ships, torpedo tubes, hull penetrations and valves for nuclear submarines
